Intema Acquire Livestream Gaming In Multi-Million Dollar Deal

Digital Innovation and Technology company Intema has acquired Livestream Gaming in a multi-million dollar deal believed to be worth $8million in cash.

The deal was done this week after both organizations signed on the dotted line in a deal that will see Intema take over Livescream who own Loot.bet - a real money gambling platform and up and coming brand for esports betting.

With the Ontario casino and betting market set to regulate in the coming months, Intema are keen to enter the esports betting market and this acquisition is a significant step in this direction.

Intema’s President and CEO Laurent Benezra said "months of hard work" went into the deal which will allow them to become "major players" in the industry.

He commented: "After months of hard work and negotiations, we are thrilled to have signed this definitive agreement to purchase Livestream, which will allow Intema to become a major player in the esports and iGaming sectors.

“Loot.bet is unequivocally the best online betting platform in the world and, with the help of Intema’s emerging ecosystem and Isle of Man licence, it has the potential to grow significantly more.

“We look forward to the final closing so we can truly begin our journey.”

A Canadian-based company, Intema will assume full ownership of the company including outstanding securities worth in the region of $14.75million.
